1. Be a part of the "Book Share" literary team. The Book Share team promotes small informal gatherings that promote Noveltown Books and the people who attend. Our goal is to sell books through gatherings without having to go through the hassle of book stores. If you live in the Central Valley, Central Coast, Bay Area and LA area, and have a love for local literary culture, you can host a "Book Share." It's easy and informal.

2. Social networking on a level different from bookstore signings. How?

3. Reverse media coverage. It's not just about Noveltown, it's about you. What? Yes, Noveltown runs the popular blog Paperback Writer that is in cohoots with an other popular online medias like Bakotopia. Paperback Writer gets 2000 readers a day, Bakotopia more than doubles the traffic. That means if you’re an artist/musician/spoken word/writer/actor, etc., you get press too. Keep in mind, we know how to work the search engines. Our discussions will be written about and appear online, and guests can participate in ONLINE INTERACTIVE DISCUSSIONS where everyone can talk and self-promote, and enjoy an aire of artistry...

4. Who do I invite and how long is the event? You invite who you want to attend. It's your event. Each event should last 1-2 hours, depending on what you have in mind. We can help in the planning.

5. What if I'm an author? Will you promote me? If you’re an author, you can get on Noveltown's list as we're starting to make commercials for books. Hey, ask yourself who makes commercials for books? No one… Start a "Book Share" and we can tell your whole group. (*Book must qualify per Noveltown standards. Noveltown reserves the right to not create commercials on your books)

6. Even if you're not an artist, Book Share is for you. If you’re an artist or not, would you attend a meeting, buy a book, hear a reading, take part in discussion about underground art, literature, media, music and more? You should try a book share event.

7. Downloadable flyers. Our downloadable flyers make for easy distribution in your area. We can custom build them. Send feedback.

8. How big are the events? As big or as small as you want them to be. Five people, ten people, or more? We're just starting out.

9. Does Noveltown have a venue where we can host an event? Yes! We've teamed up with Hectic Films where we have a delightful location in Central Bakersfield where we can help you host an event.
